More from Minnesota

My second week in Minnesota was a bit colder with the coldest day getting as cold as -8F. The snow falls been higher too. My training continued, my body clock was normalizing and I got to meet up with some old friends from the Philippines (no based in Minneapolis). Here are a few more pics...

Minnesota Weekend 01

My mentor here invited us for an afternoon at their place to walk around, shoot and sled before heading to another Filipinos place to watch the dela Hoya - Pacquiao fight. They lived in Apple Valley and we shot and sledded in a place called Farquar Park. Well, it was a cold, cold afternoon and after 2-3 hours of shooting we discovered we couldn't talk correctly. Our cheeks and lips wouldn't respond to say what we were thinking. It was funny in a painful kinda way. It was a challenge because part of you wanted to run back to heat and comfort of the car and the other wanted to capture images from a place you have never been to. I also felt like my compositional skills were frozen and changing lenses didn't even cross my mind. Here are some images from that afternoon....
