Full moon on a Friday the 13th

Got home late last Friday (the 13th) and found the full moon lighting up my room. It took me a couple of tries before I was able to get the picture above.

We then took Scottie to the vet for his scheduled shots. He enjoyed the trip and a walk around the park.

Just a random shot which I will be filing under the what-the-F-is-happening-to-my-city category. Look at that, houses, houses and more houses. Baguio's been getting really crowded, lots of new structures, tons and tons of cabs (some of which have questionable operating licenses), and scooters. Yes, scooters. I do not know how or why, but for the last couple of months there have been dozens and dozens of scooters around the city. I don't think they're all part of the Cavite Motorcycle Club. These things are just all over the place, and they don't particularly follow traffic rules (I know, the Philippines isn't known for that, but these guys are worse). Friggin' scooters! In my city! With really annoying mufflers, loud boomboxes, uniform long sleeves....Dang! And they park in groups and take up so much space in gas stations, bars and around shops. Grrr, they should be dragged out to the streets and shot. Oh well, live and let live.

Reunions, Reunions and Reunions

The Christmas-New Year week was one big reunion. I got to attend a Peredo Clan Reunion, two Baguio Taekwondo Reunions, and a Dizon Family Reunion / Kuya Jay's Wedding.

It was nice getting together with old friends, family members you dont see regulary and relatives you never knew you had. It'll be a while before I see most of them again.
