Taiwan - Week 1

I've been in Taiwan for 4 days, and so far I've learned that:
1. There is about 1 scooter per person
2. There is about one E34 per block in Hsinchu city
3. Bu hsieh means you're welcome and isn't a curse
4. Chong cheng Road is also Zhong zheng road, and isn't Zhong zhang road
5. I really am not crazy about Chinese food

Waiting at the airport, thank God I'm flying business class

Munting Buhangin

An overdue post....

A few weeks ago, we got an extra day off so officemates and I headed to Batangas for a quick trip to the beach. We ended up in cove in Nasugbu. The place wasn't bad: calm waters, semi white sand, decent maintenance. The last few meters of the road to the place did need some fixing though. We arrived at around 9, swam a bit, played a little tag football then had an early lunch. By noon we were ready for the beers. A few rounds later we rushed back to the water, passing the ball around swimming, lazing and just enjoying an extra day off from work. Before the sunset we headed back home, relaxed and refreshed....
