Windy Weekend
After checking the swell forecast and receiving messages from friends that The Backyard was working, I finally decided to travel up to Baguio. By Friday 9pm, I was on the Baguio-bound bus. I arrived early Saturday morning with still enough time to sleep before the sun rose.
On my to-do list for Saturday was to take pics of the mustangs engine and interior. Someone is interested in the mustang, and yes, I might finally sell it. So right after lunch, I headed to Sonny's place to check on the mustang. I took the pics I needed, hung out for a bit then met up with Des for dinner. Danette later sent me a message that they were going down to La Union tonight. So after dinner, I grabbed my stuff, met up with the gang and headed down.
We camped out in Aldrix's place. We shared stories over drinks before calling it a night.

The next day we were greeted by a decent swell and a terrible wind.

Fearing the wind might get worse as the day progressed, we grabbed our boards and headed out to make the most of the morning.

After the siesta, we found that the swell had jacked up but so did the wind. This was the worst wind I've experieced in this spot. As the tide came in, the waves became less playable so we washed up, packed and headed home. We arrived in Baguio around 9pm, the others headed home, Jux had coffee with Ann, and I met up with Des. A great way to end a great day.
Monday turned out to be fix-the-mustangs-papers day. I was having the ownership transferred to my name. By 4pm, I was on the bus back to Manila, then arrived in Cavite right before midnight. Good weekend? Great weekend!

We took a break a bit early to buy stuff for lunch. It's been a while since we had pinikpikan here so we were all for it. With Eugene playing Iron Chef: Baguio, the pinikpikan was a success.
