A pool in my trunk

After continous rains I discovered a pool in my trunk...


I traced the leak to the tail lights. Knowing it was going to be a lazy weekend, I took out my taillights. The assembly in the trunk side is easily removed by a twist lock and by disconnecting the socket:




You then have to take out the 6 nuts holding the lights to the body:


The weather seals were fine but to be sure I put a line of silicon around the area and reinstall all the lights. Now we wait for the rains
